Future Events

November 2009. The MRRC working papers, briefs, and key findings summaries will be available at our exhibit booth, #93, at the annual meeting of the Gerontological Society of America in Atlanta, Georgia, November 19-20, 2009. The meeting will be held at the the Hilton Atlanta and Atlanta Marriott Marquis hotels.  Please join us there.

January 3-5, 2010. The American Economics Association annual meeting will be held in Atlanta. Please visit us in exhibit booth 201A.

Past Events

August 2009. The annual meeting of the Retirement Research Consortium was held at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. on August 10-11, 2009.  Conference papers have been posted at http://www.nber.org/2009rrc/.

April 2009. MRRC working papers, briefs, and key findings summaries will be available at our exhibit booth at the Population Association of America (PAA) annual meeting April 30 - May 3, 2009.  The meeting will be held at the Renaissance Center in Detroit, MI.

March 2009. On March 20, the University of Michigan Retirement Research Center, the Brookings Institution, Wharton's Pension Research Council and Boettner Center, and The Retirement Security Project co-sponsored a conference on financial literacy and retirement preparedness. January 2009. Annual Meeting of the American Economic Association.  MRRC was represented in several sessions by affiliated researchers and at the exhibit hall by our standard display booth.

November 2008. The MRRC participated in the exhibits at the annual meeting of the Gerontological Society of America. 

August 2008.  Conference papers are available from the 10th annual conference of the Retirement Research Consortium (RRC).  The conference, Determinants of Retirement Security, was held August 7-8, 2008 in Washington, DC.

January 2008. Annual Meeting of the American Economic Association.  MRRC was represented in several sessions by affiliated researchers and at the exhibit hall by our standard display booth.

November 2007. The MRRC participated in the exhibits at the annual meeting of the Gerontological Society of America. 

August 2007.  Conference papers are available from the 9th annual conference of the Retirement Research Consortium (RRC).  The conference, Challenges and Solutions for Retirement Security, was held August 9-10, 2007 in Washington, DC.

November 2006. The MRRC participated in the exhibits at the annual meeting of the Gerontological Society of America. 

August 2006.  The Social Security Administration co-sponsored the Society of Actuaries' call for papers on retirement spending and changing needs during the retirement period.  As a cooperating organization, the MRRC circulated the attached call for papers.

August 2006.  The 8th annual conference of the Retirement Research Consortium (RRC), "Pathways to a Secure Retirement", was held in Washington DC, August 10-11.  Click to view conference papers.

December 2005.  2005 White House Conference on Aging (WHCoA). The MRRC participated in the exhibit portion of this conference, December 11-14, 2005.
