Abstract
A symposium on 09/07/2016 at the U.S. Department of the Treasury with panels of researchers addressing a number of key elements comprising financial security – including financial preparedness, understanding of Social Security, other savings and assets, and identifying future directions of research. The goal of this event is to learn what the research tells us, and the policy implications of that research, as well as where we need to go to better understand the financial security needs of an increasingly diverse population.
