Leandro Carvalho

Associate Economist, National University of Singapore

Leandro Carvalho in an Associate Economist at RAND Corporation. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University and master’s degrees in Economics from Princeton University and from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His research interests include topics in Intertemporal Optimization and Household Behavior. In previous work, he has studied the time preferences of poor families by investigating how they change their consumption choices when there is an exogenous shock to their income.
