Philip Armour

Associate Economist; Professor, Pardee RAND Graduate School, RAND Corporation

Philip Armour is an associate economist at the RAND Corporation and a professor at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. His research spans diverse areas of public policy, including the roles information can play in the Social Security system, employment responses to incentives in the U.S. disability system, how families mix work with food stamp receipt, and definitional issues in measuring trends in income inequality. He earned an M.Sc. in econometrics from the London School of Economics and his Ph.D. in economics from Cornell University.
