Todd Elder

Todd Elder is a Professor of Economics and Director of Graduate Studies at Michigan State University. He received his B.A. in economics from Stanford University and his Ph.D. in economics from Northwestern University. His current research focuses on the following issues: individual responses to welfare program rules; survey data on subjective expectations; search frictions, hours constraints, and labor market transitions of older workers; and estimators for models of heterogeneous treatment effects with dummy endogenous variables.
